Michelle Monaghan is making the most of another adventure in Indonesia.

The 50-year-old actress shared a series of vacation photos from the tropical getaway, posing in a colorful string bikini while spending time in the clear blue water.

Monaghan opened the Instagram carousel with a playful photo of herself standing thigh-deep in the sea with her arms stretched out to either side and her tongue out.

She wore a multicolored triangle bikini with tie-side bottoms and gold accents, pairing the swimsuit with an oversized woven sun hat. A quiet shoreline and rolling hills stretched behind her under a cloudless blue sky.

“Brb maxxed out 🇮🇩,” Monaghan captioned the post.

A second photo showed the “White Lotus” star striking a more relaxed pose in the same bikini.

Monaghan rested one hand on the top of her wide-brimmed hat as she stood in the turquoise water and looked toward the sun. Her wet hair fell beneath the hat while the rocky coastline remained visible in the distance.

In another image, Monaghan looked down toward the water with both arms resting in front of her as she stood farther out from shore.

“The Mission: Impossible III” star appeared to be celebrating the getaway in another photo, raising both arms overhead while standing in the shallow water.

She held a cup in one hand as a boat could be seen farther out at sea.

Fans quickly praised the vacation photos in the comments.

“Wow! You look incredible,” one person wrote.

Another called Monaghan’s vacation setting her “natural habitat!!!!”

“Enjoy Indonesia, Michelle! ✨,” another commenter added.

The trip marks Monaghan’s second visit to Indonesia, which she discussed during an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” last week.

“We had a big family trip. We love a big adventure,” Monaghan told Fallon. “And we went to Indonesia.

“It’s a wonderful country,” she continued. “It’s incredible. I highly recommend it.”

Monaghan explained that she had first traveled there on a surfing trip shortly before beginning work on her upcoming movie “The Whisper Man” with Robert De Niro.

While filming, she told De Niro about the trip and learned she had missed one of the country’s most famous attractions.

“We just got home from Indonesia,” Monaghan recalled telling the actor before he asked, “Did you see the dragons?”

Monaghan admitted she had no idea what he meant.

“I was like, ‘Oh, my God. I’ve missed the dragons,’” she said after learning about the Komodo dragons.

The conversation eventually inspired Monaghan and her family to return to Indonesia and visit Komodo National Park.

“So now we start planning this vacation,” she told Fallon. “And I say to the family, ‘We’re going back to Indonesia, and we’re going to Komodo National Park.’”

Monaghan has also been candid about staying active as she enters a new chapter of her life.

In a May 2026 interview with Fox News Digital, the actress reflected on turning 50 and said her approach to health and fitness has evolved significantly over the years.

“Turning 50 has been a pretty amazing thing,” Monaghan told Fox News Digital. “I sort of look at that number and I find it actually hard to believe.”

She added that the milestone made her more intentional about how she spends her time.

“Turning 50 was, I guess, even more of an opportunity to continue to be intentional with the things that I do and the things, the people that I spend time with, how I spend time myself, and to really maximize all of those things,” she said.

Monaghan also told Fox News Digital she feels physically stronger now than she did decades earlier.

“I am absolutely stronger than I was in my 30s,” she said.

The actress explained that strength training has become particularly important to her during midlife.

“Now I’m at an age where midlife, I’m perimenopausal, taking care of my body and my muscles and my bones is of utmost importance,” Monaghan said.

Her typical routine includes strength training three times a week, along with walking, hiking, jogging and Pilates when her schedule allows.

“I really try to do strength training three times a week. I do a 6 a.m. class, so that gets me up and at them,” she told Fox News Digital.

Monaghan added that she enjoys balancing those workouts with lower-impact movement.

“I also really love Pilates,” she said. “I try to do it a couple of times a week if my schedule allows, but that makes me feel really good because it’s, it’s a lot about flexibility, and it also incorporates a lot of the breath.”
