Welcome to Screencaps, "America's Best Daily Column," as named by the readers. Screencaps, which publishes seven-days-a-week, is a mix of sports, pop culture, and emails from sane readers from around the world. This column isn't for the coastal elites. Give us a week to steal your heart. Our track record is pretty good. Let's have some fun.
Here I thought these two would grow old together
Talk about a Friday night news dump. While you were at dinner/Halloween parties, TMZ reported last night that Bill Belichick and his 25-year-old girlfriend JorDON Hudson called it quits in late 2025 & JorDON has already moved on to another man, according to "sources close to JorDON."

I smell an upcoming media blitz from JorDON. Maybe a book. Definitely a podcast series for her own future media company.
BILL BELICHICK WOULD LIKE YOU TO KNOW THAT HIS 25-YEAR-OLD GIRLFRIEND ISN'T RUNNING THINGS AT UNC
Despite the breakup, Hudson is still seen at North Carolina football games. Why? TMZ says its source contends that the couple remains "committed to their business partnerships and remain close friends."
For those keeping track at home, Bill's record with JorDON at UNC was 4-8 (.333%). His record this year without JorDON through seven games is 4-3 (.571%) with a massive home game today against the Miami Hurricanes.
Never forget the happier times for these two like back in the summer of 2025 when JorDON posted this. What a run. We'll never forget the love they shared with one another.

Happy Halloween
Here are my notes from Screencaps the III's final school Halloween parade:
- There was a disturbingly low number of kids in football costumes. (2) Michigan football kids; (1) 49ers kid; (1) Eagles kid. No Ohio State costumes.
- Huge props to the kid who was dressed as Marty McFly. His mom even found him a little skateboard to carry. It had to be the costume of the year.
- One of the 1st graders was dressed as a Waste Management worker and he was pulling a cooler that was made to look like a Waste Management trash can. The kid will probably end up a multi-millionaire without going to a day of college.
- What's up with so many kids wanting to be Michael Jackson? One of you has a kid who's going as MJ. Tell me how the kids came up with this idea.
- I was happy to see some of the kids dressed up like Jason from Friday the 13th and the school allowed it.
• Greg in Nebraska writes: My wife thought this was amazing. I thought you and the Screencap crew might enjoy it.
Readers are fascinated with Cheerios figuring out how to develop a resealable bag
• CF in Kansas says: Thank you Cheerios! It's about time. When I shared the news with my son-in-law his response was: "My cereal bag origami skills are no longer needed???" 🤣
As for what to do with the ziploc bags after the cereal is gone, I'm going to rinse out the baggies and reuse them. My mom did the same thing and I remember her telling me "I was a child of the Depression; throwing them away after one use is wasteful."
Readers are also fascinated with the topic of how you do grocery shopping in 2026
This topic is just going to keep getting hotter. This week, I wrote about how 15% of Americans are now not stepping foot, regularly, into grocery stores. Instead, they're shopping on their phones and picking up like back in the COVID days, but the practice has exploded.
• Galen D. checks in: Thanks for continually having your thumb on the pulse of topics that drive mainstream America! On the subject of Delivery or No, I have a new perspective.
As I moved from Johnson City, TN to Sunset Beach, NC things have drastically changed in the last few months. We have gone from a "food desert" to a new Publix and a SuperWalmart opening within a month of each other this week and only 2 miles away. I am well versed in Publix (Pub Sub, BOGOs, etc), but is Walmart delivery worth it? Of course, I will do my own veggie, fresh fruit, etc, but what are the experiences with just a regular delivery? Is it worth the monthly charge? Thanks ScreenCaps Nation for any input!
• Jim T. in San Diego wants all of us to remember: Oh my goodness, the idea of getting your groceries delivered surely has a bunch of panties getting bunched up in SC Nation.
Which cracks me up because home delivery pre-dates the modern supermarket!
My grandmother used to get her meat from a butcher shop - yes, an entire store that only sold meat! - over off Shiloh Springs Road. And she want to Mumma's for her produce. And guess what? She could phone in her order, and they'd both deliver at no extra charge. So did the bakery. And when "supermarkets" showed up, she'd call the IGA and they'd deliver at no cost.
The whole time I was growing up in Kettering, we had our milk and other dairy delivered to our house 3x a week. We even had an insulated milk box on our front porch for the deliveries.
So none of this is new.
And for those grousing that you need to man up and go forage at the local Kroger's like our ancestors did, guess what? Your time has value.
We use home delivery probably once a week. My wife enjoys shopping as she works from home, and shopping gets her out of the house and away from us for a bit.
As for Bob in Cincy - Dorothy Lane Market is the bomb, at least the one on State Route 48 between Kettering and Centerville. Was in there a couple years ago while back home visiting, and laying in supplies for a cookout, and was blown away by DLM's beer and wine selection, that fact that the snack aisle only had a couple Lays products - everything else being regional chips, pretzels, etc.
And the meat counter was insane!
• Geoff in SD wants in: As the main driver of all things food in our house, I'm 100% on board with letting the store employees pick out anything that is pre-packaged. I'll take the time to go shopping for fruits, veggies, and meat with my wife, but with 5 kids in the house with no drivers yet, and none of them driving, I think we're at least at the relative peak of busy-ness, and might be at the absolute peak, so I'll take any assistance that I can get. I'm even pushing for home delivery of groceries, so that I can schedule the delivery for right after school, and my middle schoolers can put them away!
At OutKick/Fox News Digital, I'm allowed to write such things
• Brad S. is impressed: I loved the way you started 'Caps today: It's like shooting fish in a barrel right now for this column.
Sadly, I'll bet some PETA idiots will complain!
Chili's has things figured out
• Mark in NorCal stops by: Went to Chili's for the first time in forever last night. Place was packed!! We have been told that nobody is spending $. Not last night! Chili's might be getting it right as a burger and fries were around $15 and really good. Unlimited refills on sodas and the bottomless chips were a hit before the meal came out. Was surprised by the experience.
Then this morning I came across a report that Private Equity is swimming around Wendy's which would be the final nail in their coffin.
Travel ball parents hitting their wall

• Deb from Marco Island says: Not only will you not need to set the alarm on Sunday morning, you'll get an extra hour to sleep (or stay up the night before). Daylight Savings ends.
Kinsey: I can't wait, Deb. You won't hear me complaining even if I wake up at 4:45 due to my internal clock. As long as I don't hear that alarm tomorrow morning, all will be right in my world.

That's it this morning. Stay safe out there tonight. It's going to be amateur hour. I'm off to Screencaps the III's final soccer game. After that, it's time to start enjoying fall festivities and hang our new $22 fold-up skeleton that I bought from Aldi (helluva find!) from the basketball hoop. The boys were fired up after I suggested it. Now I just need to figure out a way to tie fishing line to the skeleton to make it look like 'Bones' is flying through the air.
Let's go have some fun.
